These terms and conditions govern the “Free February” consultation promotion. By requesting a consultation under this offer, you agree to the following:
1. Eligibility and Duration
- Promotion Period: This offer is valid only for individuals who contact the Firm to request an initial consultation between February 1, 2026, and February 28, 2026.
- New Clients Only: This promotion applies only to prospective clients who have not previously consulted with or retained the Firm.
- Subject to Availability: Consultations are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. The Firm does not guarantee that every requestor will receive a consultation if the attorney’s schedule becomes fully booked during the promotion period.
2. Nature of the Consultation
- No Attorney-Client Relationship: A free consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are not your attorneys until a written retainer agreement is signed by both you and the Firm and any required fees are paid.
- Limited Scope: The consultation is intended for a preliminary evaluation of your legal matter. It does not include document review, legal research, or the preparation of any legal filings.
- Duration: Consultations are limited to a maximum of 30 minutes. Any time exceeding this limit may be subject to the Firm’s standard hourly rates, provided you are notified in advance.
3. Conflict of Interest
- Preliminary Screening: Before any consultation is confirmed, the Firm must perform a “conflict of interest” check. The Firm reserves the right to refuse a consultation if representing you would create a conflict with an existing client or a prior legal obligation.
4. Communication and Technical Issues
- Contact Method: To qualify, you must contact the Firm through our official website form, office email, or primary phone line. Requests made via social media comments or third-party platforms may not be honored.
- Technical Failures: The Firm is not responsible for missed opportunities due to technical issues, such as emails trapped in spam filters, server outages, or dropped calls.
5. Right to Refuse Service
- Discretionary Refusal: The Firm reserves the right to decline a consultation for any reason permitted by law, including but not limited to:
- Matters falling outside our areas of practice.
- Requests involving cases where the statute of limitations has already expired.
- Unprofessional or abusive behavior by the prospective client.
6. General Provisions
- One Per Person: Limit one free consultation per individual or household.
- Non-Transferable: This offer has no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for any other service.
- Cancellation Policy: If you fail to appear for your scheduled consultation without at least 24 hours’ notice, the Firm is under no obligation to reschedule your free session.
Attorney Advertising: This material may be considered “Attorney Advertising” under the New York Rules of Professional Conduct. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
